NANNY INFORMATION FOR A FAMILY Child care style: I am a very warm and loving woman. My husband and I have raised three daughters of our own. Their ages are 31, 28, and 24. I have always been very involved with their education, volunteering in their schools, extracurricular activities, etc. I interact with children very much. I like to read with them, play with them, and dance with them. I especially love to see little babies do something new. How exciting! From babbling, to repeating words you say to them, to crawling, to standing up, to crawling up and down stairs, to finally walking! I have most recently worked for a family since their precious girl was 3 months old until she was a year old. Mom decided to be a stay-at-home mom. For the older children, I like to help them with their homework if they need it, have them read to me and I can read to them. After homework, if they like, I play games with them. For older children, I use the "time-out" method for an inappropriate behavior. We discuss things afterwards and decide what should be changed in terms of that behavior. Self-description: I am 58 years old and have three daughters, ages 31, 28, and 24. I am very healthy, in that I eat well, exercise everyday and stay out of the sun!! I am a warm and loving mom and my daughters know that my husband and I are here for them 24/7. I love children and that is why I am looking to be a nanny for the right family.
