My name is Megan Ariel Quezada. I am 20 years old and have been working with children for about 7 years. For this past year I have been a live in nanny for a single mother with a 15 month old boy. Before I started working for her I was going to school at the community college working towards my BSN. I was going to school to get my prerequisites out of the way so I could transfer to a 4 year university. My long term goals are to become a registered nurse and work with children who have cancer.   I have worked with all age groups. I was the children's ministry coordinator at my church for a group called MOPs (which stands for mothers of preeschoolers). I was in charge of five classrooms ages ranging from newborns to 13 years old. I coordinated lesson plans along with crafts, games and snacks. Each month I came up with the curriculum and finding volunteers to help in each classroom. As a live in nanny my tasks included: wake ups, laundry, running errands, meals, diaper changes, naptimes, bath times, day trips to the park,and bedtimes.  Caring for the child when he was sick, which included administering medication.   I have my own car and I am CPR and lifeguard certified.
