I've worked as a nanny and provided short-term childcare for over six years. I've worked on a long-term basis for 10 families. I can handle any age, from infants on up. Past experiences included providing after school care (picking up children, working on homework and handling after school activities, etc.), infant care on an all day basis (including for newborns), and special event babysitting. I've also provided overnight care and traveled with families as a nanny. I have experience caring for children with autism and ADHD. Personally, I have dyslexia, so I have quite a bit of experience with specialized education needs. I can plan activities for children of all ages, both geared toward education and towards fun. I come equipped with musical instruments and art supplies! I particularly enjoy working with children on a long-term basis. I like working with the same family on an ongoing basis, so that I can make sure that I'm providing exactly the high level of care I know everyone wants for their children. Personally, I'm a recent Portland transport (here for college!). I've been playing piano since I was five and I'm an artist. I'm heavily involved in a youth group.
