Hi there! My name is Emily and I am 19 years old. I just recently moved to the Racine area from Fargo, ND and I'm looking for a summer nannying position. I started working in daycare when I was 14 years old after my family had started doing foster care, and I've been working with children ever since. I have the most experience with infants and toddlers but have worked with every age group over the last 5 years. I am a strong believer in learning through play, and I love to be on the floor doing hands on activities with the kids. I have been CPR/First aid certified in the past and I can definitely renew my certification if desired. I have also completed one year of child development courses at North Dakota State University, and some additional Nurtured Heart training through the daycare I worked at. The Nurtured Heart program is something I use with all children I work with, and I would love to fill you in on the difference it's made in my classroom. I hope to work with you soon!
