Hello! My name is Seneca and I am a mom who loves teaching kids through creative and imaginative play. I have over ten years of experience as a babysitter and nanny, have a three year old daughter (by birth) and an eight year old son (by marriage and good fortune. I studied Early Childhood Education and worked as a student teacher in a Menotomy Rocks Preschool for three school years, and began working toward a degree in psychology at Suffolk University (before I had my daughter, but I am not giving up on). I am hoping to find a family who is in need of childcare for one or more children. I believe a child is most capable of becoming their best self when they are encouraged to try new things, with special time and care devoted to developing the interests and talents they already know of. I love reading stories, playing outside, exploring nature, arts and crafts, singing and dancing, imaginative play, and going on fun outings that are age appropriate for the little ones I am with. I have experience with animals, own my own car with safe driving record, and am a non smoker. I know that every kid and baby is different, and that a caring and involved parent knows what is best for their child above anyone else. I love and care deeply for the kids and families I get close to, and feel blessed to be a part of each life I am able to help shape.
