Sitter Job in Kitchener, Ontario

We are a professional busy couple looking for a caring, responsible and experienced nanny to care for our 18-month daughter. You must love children and be mature, reliable, trustworthy, punctual and well presented. You will be required to work weekdays from 5am – 8:30am and 4pm – 8pm with occasional evenings/weekends and overnight for which you will be paid overtime. We are a non-smoking household and would prefer a non-smoker. Your responsibilities will include: - Preparing breakfast, waking our daughter, facilitating her getting dressed, fed, and packed up for daycare and transporting her to and from daycare. - Changing nappies and clothing, as well as washing and drying clothes as required. - Bathing, reading, playing, taking her for walks and putting her down for naps. - Some cleaning and general housekeeping You will need a current First Aid certificate, working with children police check certificate and a current driver’s license with a clean record. A certificate in child care will also be highly regarded. Also, educational goal from the time you spent with her that involves child development, education, psychology, human development or relevant field of interest and speak English and French fluently. In return, you will be well treated and will receive a good wage and meals, have full use of the house, and be treated as one of the family.
