Sitter in Kingsville, Texas

My name is Stefanie Pina. I am 18 years old and an experienced babysitter. A little background, I graduated top of my class and I am currently enrolled at Texas A&M University Kingsville. Starting when I was 16, I babysat 2 young girls for 3 years. I fed, clothed, bathed and helped them with their homework. I babysat them almost every week and when needed stayed the night while their parents were out. They were a huge part of my life; I went to their dance recitals, cheer leading events and softball games. I stopped babysitting them when they moved to another town. Recently I worked at my home church, Runge First Baptist Church, in the nursery. I worked with children 0- 4 years. I fed, changed diapers and taught the children. Our curriculum was to watch a short movie or color, read a book and then do a dancing activity. The children loved it. I worked every Sunday morning and Wednesday night. I worked there for 5 months but volunteered for 3 months before; working a total of 8 months. I left to continue my education in Kingsville, but when I visit home I still volunteer in the nursery. I am currently studying social work at the college and plan on getting my Masters so that I can continue to work with children.
