I have been babysitting children between the ages of 3 months and 13 years old for five years now. I am very comfortable with special needs children. I have not only cared for a 6 year old leukemia survivor with both Down syndrome and autism, but also an 11 year old boy with arthrogryposis. Therefore, I am capable of accommodating for both physical and mental disabilities. However, I am very flexible with the needs of every child I meet. Active children do not intimidate me; in fact, I welcome it! I love playing games with kids to keep them engaged and happy. If light housework is needed, I am willing to do that as well. That being said, any dirty dishes or mess made with me present will not be there when I leave, as I am very tidy and responsible.
