Hello! My name is Alejandrea Oliver, 18 years old, born and raised in the Sacramento area, particularly Greenhaven and Land Park. My background in daycare and babysitting has spanned from at home babysitting for neighbors and relatives to daycare work with children (4 months-6th grade) at my church. At the daycare I have also worked with the Special Angels program, teaching and playing with children who have special needs, mentally and psychically. I also do work with my old elementary/ middle school, Alice Birney, every other month to help the kids with reading, writing, painting and music. Alice Birney is a Waldorf School, which provided me with a great deal of attributes and talents many others were never given the opportunity to have. I play four instruments, know many different types of handworks (knitting, sewing, felting, embroidery, etc.), and a full background in painting, pastels and drawing. I have done my very best to think with the Waldorf mentality that every child learns and processes at different speeds and it's our job as caregivers to them to help them find their own potential, rather than a generic standard set for everyone.
