I achieved an Addictions and Community Service Worker Diploma at Everest College. As a student, I learned and applied case management strategies and exercised detail-oriented report writing skills. I studied youth populations, the fundamentals of addiction, interviewing techniques, relapse prevention, and implemented treatment planning. In terms of certifications, I have First Aid and CPR, along with a few specialized programs I have had the chance to participate in through the years. I speak and write English fluently, while my French would be classified as conversational. I know that my passion for helping people and professional aptitude would make me a great fit for this role. I have worked part-time/occasionally for a few families here in Montreal over the last year and a half. I have had the great pleasure of taking a year off for maternity leave to take care of my daughter. I eagerly look forward to returning to work as soon as possible.
