Hello, my name is Kaitlin and I am interested in becoming your babysitter. I am a second-year Concurrent Education student (Teacher candidate) who attends Queen’s University and is currently home for the summer, looking to gain valuable experience within a child related field, while earning some extra money on the side. For the past two summers, I have worked as a day camp leader where I have learned how to appropriately care for children. Working at a day camp has taught me how to create safe environments, how to prepare balanced meals and has allowed me the opportunity to practice handling situations with patience and sensitivity. Previous experience working as a volunteer literacy tutor through the YMCA has taught me to be a good listener and how to deal with delicate personalities and situations. I feel I am a very trustworthy, creative and outgoing individual who understands the importance of making a commitment and keeping it. I understand choosing a babysitting is a hard decision, but I can promise you I will not let you down!
