Sitter in Chelmsford, Massachusetts

Hi! I'm Emily, and I'm currently a junior in high school. I have babysat many times before, usually for daughters of local Girl Scout troop leaders, since I am a scout myself. I cooked for and babysat a preteen girl frequently for about a year, and three families with two siblings in elementary school. The youngest child I have cared for was a preschooler, however, I am a Girl Scout certified babysitter of children of all ages, including infants. I can do CPR and am a strong swimmer. I have my driver's permit and am on the path to a license, but I do have transportation should it be necessary. A little bit about myself is that I enjoy reading, art, storytelling, cooking, and playing games. My favorite parts of taking care of kids is being able to read to them (my favorite is Harry Potter) and play games with them. I find that as we get older, we tend to have less time to just sit down and play a board game, so being able to do so is rare and valuable. In addition to being a Girl Scout, I am a member of NHS, my school's theater program, and a band with my friends. I am more than happy to care for pets and plants as well– I have housesat many a time, taking care of cats, dogs, guinea pigs, and gardens. I am a very patient and understanding person. I have repeatedly cared for children with Asperger Syndrome and ADHD, and I have a brother with the same issues– I am more than willing to babysit neuro-atypical youngsters. :) Additional contact info: [email protected] 978-930-...
