Hello! My name is Ashley, and I am 29 years old with a lot of child care experience. I grew up all over the world, as both my parents were military, and when it came time to attend college, I decided on a very small liberal arts school in Frederick, MD: Hood College. I double majored in Law and Political Science with a minor in English, and passed with a 4.0. I worked on Capitol Hill for a few years; decided it was not for me, and went to Cosmetic's school and obtained my license. I ended up being promoted to to upper management and marketing. I will be very straight forward and honest with you, mainly because I would be taking care of your children and also because I am the most honest person you will ever meet. I have been diagnosed with a rare form of lupus, COPD, ulcerative colitis and few, less sever conditions. I am not able to have children of my own naturally, and I believe being around children will help me to realize how blessed I truly am. I am more than willing to get a notarized letter from each and every doctor I see letting you, as parents, know that your child(ren) are very safe under my care. I am willing to disclose any medications I am on, and how it affects me. (Most all medications I take do not conjur the same side effects as other people due to the fact of my illness and how my body breaks down food/water/pills/vitamins/etc. I would like to suggest a non-traditional payment arrangement. My fiancé and I currently live in his parent's basement as a temporary arrangement so we can get ahead on our bills. We are to move out by the 1st of next year. I would like to move out long before that. When I stopped working full time, my fiancé and I decided to sell my car, so we would not have to worry about paying for any repairs and car insurance. My license is to date, and I still drive often. I have no problem taking your child(ren) to and from school, school or music practices, okay dates, doctors appointments, or anything else, I would just need to use your cat if that is at all possible. In exchange for a room/basement/in-law suite for my fiancé and I to live in, I would happily take care of the children from the moment the wake up, to the moment they go to sleep. I have my driver's license, but no car, but if you have one available to drive, I could also run errands for you, as well as clean the house and tidy up daily. The only issue we may come across is the amount of dogs we have. We have a 4lb 9year old Chihuahua, who is housebroken, and is a registered service animal. We have Flynn, a 12-15lb puppy (will be 1yeat toward the end of October) he is housebroken and will be neutered on Oxtober 10th of this year. Our largest dog, Royal, is a mix between and lab and border collie. He weights around 50lbs, housebroken and neutered. He stays at my soon to be in-laws every day except Saturday and Sunday, when he is with us. All of our dogs are trained on "snap command," and are extremely obident. Hopefully they will not be a deterrent in having myself come on as your live-in nanny. If the dogs do become any sort of nuisance for you, I will make sure to stop the behavior immediately.
