My name is Shannon Owens, I was born and raised in Charlotte, North Carolina. I am currently attending UNCC but am school free this summer! I am passionate about the medical field and I'm taking the proper steps i need to obtain an occupation in Pediatric Occupational Therapy. I attended Weddington High School and graduated in 2010. I ran track/cross country my whole high school career and I still continue to run on my free time. Fitness is very important to me as far as maintaining a healthy lifestyle. In high school, I took Medical Science 1, and Medical Science 2.......through those two courses, I eventually became CPR certified and was trained through the Siskey YMCA in Matthews, NC. I come from a loving Christian family. I have one sister, who is three years younger than me, and a group of friends that I value so very much and consider them like family. I am currently living at home with my parents in the Wesley Chapel area but hope to move to the university area to be closer to school mid-late summer. I am willing to drive. I nannied all last summer for a family of two and also a family of four children. My sophomore year of college I also nannied for a family with a 1 and 5 yo. old in Wilmington. (I went to school in Wilmington the past two years and just transferred back to charlotte where I am originally from) I have nannied a three year old for the past year but recently am out of a job due to his family moving.
