Though being young, I have had many experiences dealing with children of all ages whether being newborns, infants or toddlers. In my high school I was a part of a child development program which was a high school student taught day care for children ages three and four. For three years I was able to teach, interact, and grow relationships with these young children in a way any other adult in a day care environment. In my senior year of high school, I moved on to become an intern for a gym class at local middle school. There I led, overlooked as well as participated in gym activities such as soccer, basketball, tennis, and kickball. As for newborns, two years ago I babysat my newborn cousin for the summer as both parents worked full time jobs. This experience was handwork but prepared me for upcoming obstacles and has educated me on the subject of caring for small children.
