Hello, I have 14 years of Elementary school teaching experience of which was on the Primary level (grades 1-3). I am also a mother of a beautiful 21 year old daughter of whom is attending Rutgers University. I have much to offer a family in terms of education, experience, positive reinforcement, as well as loving care. My favorite activities to do with children are reading, games, arts and crafts (of which I have a pocketful), age related cooking, projects, playgrounds, parks, nature walks, music, dramatic arts, etc. You can rest assured that your child will be given many different options when I am supervising them. I also understand that many children today have after school activities and parents need someone responsible to be there for their child(ren). I do understand homework and am very knowledgeable of the children's differing levels. I have many techniques that can help children who are struggling and also for those students that would like a challenge. I am unopposed to light cooking and cleaning, as well as other errands that you may be in need of. My schedule is flexible as I have an empty nest now that my child is away at school.
