Dear Potential Family, I am a former grade school teacher and a Mom to a lovely 6 year old girl. I have always been a caregiver it's just what I do. I have worked as a nanny since age 19 but was a frequent babysitter since the age of 12. I have experience as a classroom teacher as well, there I worked with various age groups and class sizes. I was responsible for helping my students make great gains in reading and comprehension. Students under my instruction had an average of a 3 year gain after one school year of instruction. I enjoy children of all ages, and I am a very interactive caregiver. I can help with all care-giving homework and household duties as well. It is my hope to find a local family who I can work with long term and become an extension of that family. My daughter is in school daily and would accompany on the occasion that she is off school.
