First off, thanks for looking into my profile! I am 31, married and I have a 6 month old little girl. I do have 2 small dogs that are well behaved around children. I am a trustworthy, honest and outgoing person. I am an organized, efficient and detail oriented person also. I left my previous job to be a stay at home mom and now I am looking to teach/socialize my daughter with a new friend. I have been in the early learning profession for almost 7 years now and baby sat since being a teen. Professionally, I have worked with ages 8 weeks - 12 years old. In my early learning career, I have been a lead teacher in a 2, 3, and most recently a VPK (4 -5 year old) classroom. I have experience following a curriculum and as well as implementing my own age appropriate curriculum. I taught phonics classes at one of my previous preschools which was for 3 - 4 year olds. I have completed the state required exams for early childhood development and to further advance my teaching status, 2 years ago I graduated Rasmussen college with an 3.89 GPA and my CDA (Child Development Associate Credential). I'm looking to spread my knowledge and help another child learn with the same love and care I have for my own daughter in my home. I can provide proper hygiene and nutritional care, entertaining environment and age appropriate learning activities.
