Hi! My name is Donna, and I have been in the teaching profession in various capacities since graduating form college in the 1980's. I graduated from college with a Bachelor of Science degree in Education, with an emphasis in Special Education. I moved to California from Illinois after teaching elementary school, including a summer school session. I moved to California and taught special education at the high school level for the next three years. I returned to Illinois to get married and start my own family. I taught at the preschool where my son attended, and made the move to Colorado when my husband was transferred here in 1992. I had one more child and returned to work when she began kindergarten. I worked for the Cherry Creek School District as a special education paraprofessional for the next ten years. Most recently, I taught at a few different preschools, working with ages from infants through five. I am looking for a more individualized setting to continue to work with children, and I feel my teaching and parenting experience would be a good match for a nanny position.
