Hi! My name is Rebecca and I'm a senior at KU this year studying Political Science and Spanish! I enjoy swimming, reading Shel Silverstein's "Where The Sidewalk Ends", spending time with dogs and cats, and cooking yummy food! I have quite a bit of experience tutoring, teaching, and babysitting children! From 3 years as a swim instructor with the YMCA, being a coordinator with the Rosedale Freedom school last summer and tutoring elementary students with KU, I've always enjoyed spending quality time with children! My boyfriend and I just moved to Lawrence and I would love to become your trusted neighborhood sitter. Rebecca was on board our staff as a before and after care coordinator and she was very creative in coming up with a fun weekly and daily schedule the kids could rely on. She was great at getting to know the kids and parents personally, remembering all their likes, dislikes, health and medication needs, and game preferences. I appreciated her timeliness, willingness to stay late when necessary, and commitment to doing her job the best she could.
