About Me Hi, my name is Carlie Rogers. I am a student at BYUI currently off-track, so my schedule is rather flexible. I am 19 year's old and on my fourth semester at school. I am studying to become an Illustrator so that I can illustrate children's books. Experience I have been babysitting since I was 12 years old. No matter where I live I always end up having two or three families that regularly ask me to babysit. In high school I was a nanny one summer for an 8 month old baby until she turned 1. When I was home last summer I was a teacher for a class of the four year old children at church. That experience exposed me to lots of crying, so I'm not scared of tears. I learned how to resolve fights between children in ways that they understood what was wrong and why they had to apologize. What else I easily become friends with the kids I babysit and truly fall in love with them. I can cook kid friendly meals, help with art projects, and always find ways to keep your kids entertained.
