Hello my name is Ima Nzesi. I am writing to express by interest in reference to your job posting. Over the years I have acquired experience and gained knowledge that I think will be applicable to a job as a Receptionist. While in high school, I worked at a Fortune 500 company and a Retirement facility. While working at these two jobs I quickly learned how to efficiently manage different situations. This past summer I was awarded the opportunity to work alongside of a lawyer in the Silver Spring area. There I learned how to manage tasks, organize, and developed skills in legal research. My time as a sitter has taught me patience and how to cater to children of a young age. I also have gained experience in childcare from a young age. Being an older sister I was constantly a babysitter having to take care of my younger brother. I have also taken care of two young twin boys when they were 18 months. I have taken care of these same boys off and on until the current date. I also was hired as a sitter for a 22 month old girl at the end of the summer last year. During my undergraduate career I have taken classes in French, Economics, Computer Science, Philosophy, Research Methods, and various English, History, and Political Science classes. In everything I do I am determined to put my best foot forward and strive to be the best and remain the best. I am very attentive in my school work and show an eagerness to learn new things. I also remained active in school activities becoming a member of the Student Government Association (SGA), Sophomore and Junior Executive Council, and the NAACP General Body.
