Sitter Job in Redmond, Washington

We are looking for a professional nanny for our 4 school aged children (16, 15,...), who can help facilitate and keep things running efficiently and smoothly. Our current nanny is moving out of state mid-February with her husband so we are seeking a candidate who is extremely good at time management, self-motivated, cheerful, and reliable to become that fabulous addition to our family. You must be able to communicate clearly and be extremely well organized, plan ahead and love to cook. Trustworthiness, honesty and reliability are of the utmost importance for this role. Our kids are bright, and very active in local community sports so we need someone who can keep up with them in mind and body. An exemplary driving record is a must, as the position involves driving the kids home from school and to and from various activities in a provided vehicle; additional defensive and performance driving courses may be requested (at our expense). Our schedule is 11-7pm M-F; Summer hours & days off school are 8am – 6pm. JOB FUNCTIONS: Keep the home Neat and Tidy (we do have a professional cleaning team come in once a week) Food prep and cooking dinner each night Management of household inventory supplies Children’s Laundry Managing the household calendar Manage and purchase house supplies including groceries Helping with homework after school and assisting in any extra-curricular activities Help organize play dates, and take kids to activities ( oh yes, and CHEER them on) QUALIFICATIONS: Have a valid Driver's license and exemplary driving record Highly organized, strong attention to detail Experience planning meals, making grocery lists Extremely tidy and clean Ability to multi-task Previous experience in this type of role Educational background and knowledge of child development is a bonus but not required.
