Sitter Job in Washington, District of Columbia

Household Manager/Nanny needed for busy family. Both parents are professionals. The family employs two full time housekeepers. The primary responsibility is to help maintain the household and ensure the children are cared for properly. Household Manager responsibilities include: cleaning, maintaining an orderly household, setting up kitchen for breakfast (setting table, making coffee, serving easy meals like waffles) helping prepare for events held at the home, etc. Childcare responsibilities include occasionally picking children up from school, occasionally preparing easy meals, etc. Family prefers someone who is willing to travel. Family travels during Thanksgiving, Christmas, and for 2.5 months during the summer. Family will provide apt and car for the summer trip as this is a live out position. Some overnights will be requested. The hours can remain at 40 per week, or additional hours can be obtained. The family is seeking a responsible, warm, and caring person who is able to be flexible with hours depending on the family’s needs.
