Sitter in Miami, Florida

I am from the Dominican Republic, moved to Miami a couple years ago to go to school. Currently a Senior studying Marketing and International Business. I enjoy being outdoors, practicing yoga, listening to music, reading outdoors and finding joy in my surroundings. Coming from a big family I love having people around and kids have always been my joy and happiness. I have 15 nieces and nephews that I would care for on a daily basis back home, the youngest one was a newborn when I started taking care of her this past December. As I was raised always playing around with my neighbors and family members I understand that it is vital for children to spend enough time outside learning new things and using their senses: playing in the grass, breathing fresh air, looking at the clouds or even listening to the birds. Because of my very flexible schedule with school I want to be able to take advantage of this time to really focus on what I love and share my knowledge and care for someone, whether its a little toddler or a young teen I would love to be part of a young minds life and be more than a sitter, or nanny but also serve as a mentor.
