Sitter in Stone Mountain, Georgia

At the present time, I am a daycare teacher at 1st Creative Learning Academy in Lilburn. This position enables me to provide students with a scheduled routine of learning and play within the appropriate limits. I am challenged to be patient, active, creative and positive in this field. During my junior and senior years of college, an interest of teaching turned into a passion when I began working for Club Scikidz, LLC. This position allowed me to interact with children between ages 4-15, but my experience in particular is with two ages groups: 6-8 year olds and 9-12 year olds. With my current position at 1st Creative, I now have experience with infants and toddlers as well. I was given the ability correlate science with real life situations, and also ignite a passion for STEM fields into younger kids. Also, during my senior year of college, I have worked as a babysitter for a small family of four (two middle-school aged young girls), in Decatur, Georgia. This position allowed me to get to understand how to interact with children on a more intimate level. During my time as a babysitter for this family, I prepared meals, monitored and facilitating sleep/bath routines, and also performed light house work and homework assistance.
