Hello, my name is Nikki. I was a para at Howard B. Thomas Elementary School in Burlington, IL. District 301. I had to resign due to family medical issues and school. I am excited about getting back to working with children and receiving experience as a future educator. I am currently studying toward receiving my degree in Elementary Education. I attended Judson University (for 3 years), majoring in Elementary and Secondary Physical Education. I have a strong passion in working with children and people by solving problems and making them comfortable. My education has given me the techniques necessary to work with children and the public. I do have some experience but am looking for more to further my education. As an efficient, detail oriented, self-starter, I am also well organized, reliable and trustworthy. I possess the required ability to support and work well with my associates while managing multiple tasks under pressure. Working independently or as a team, brainstorming, prioritizing and handling confidential issues with discretion while staying dedicated to my job, makes me a unique employee.
