I was a nanny for over 15 years. but became a mother of twins and decided to stay home and raise them. Now they are almost 2 and thought it would be nice to watch kids in my home to help both myself and working mother/ fathers.a little background; In 2007 i watched 5 kids and before that l worked at a daycare, i was 17 when i started in the infant room. then i moved to the toddler room. I knew the day that I started taking child care classes in high school, I knew this is where I belonged. Children bring me such happiness and I enjoy watching them grow in front of my eyes. I especially enjoy helping families and allowing parents to be able to go to work, provide for their family and know that their children are safe and cared for at my home. Nannying over the years has brought new and exciting experiences as well as ideas and I carry these new ideas to each family I nanny for. I take what I have learned and incorporate new and exciting ways for kids to learn and have fun. Everyday is something new and the kids always seem to enjoy it. I find new ways to potty train using reinforcements, I use everyday life to incorporate lessons, such as grocery shopping as a way for kids to learn about math and healthy eating. I think my character shows through my work and the kids seem to feel comfortable with me as well as safe. I am flexible and always willing to work with the parents. I take this career very seriously . And love doing it!!
