My name is Lauren, I'm a 21 years old, female, and I love art! I've just moved down to TN to be with family, and since I'm just doing freelance illustration right now, I have plenty of time. I spent 3 years babysitting my little cousins (ages 2 and 3, then 5 and 6 when they moved away) and was paid by my high school to teach a computer graphics class to students in grades 5-8 for a Saturday enrichment class. I love encouraging children to be creative from stories to drawing and having fun in the kitchen. I spent my early years plopped on my grandmother's kitchen counter while she made cookies, cakes and cupcakes, baklava, and other tasty deserts for catering orders and I love getting kids involved in making their food because I remember how much fun I had helping. I'm comfortable staying overnight, taking kids to school, getting them from school, to/from practice, making them dinner/lunches, taking them to the park, movies, and just about anything else! I'm self employed right now so my schedule is open for what suits you, though I do have parrots and a dog that I can't be away from for more than a couple days at a time. I have experience with dogs of all sizes, cats, parrots, and novice fish keeping. I have no issue helping care for pets while I'm there. I'm also happy to help out with household chores when there's time! Any babysitting I do must be at your home (I currently live with family!) and I am only comfortable watching kids that are 2 and potty trained! Accidents happen and I can handle them well, but I don't have experience with babies or changing diapers.
