Hi there, my name is Christine (Chris). I am seeking a Nanny position in the McHenry, Lake County Illinois or Kenosha County Wisconsin area. I have worked as a Nanny, babysitter, and/or Assistant Preschool Teacher for about 30 years. I am looking for a wonderful, fun, & loving family that would like me to join their family, preferably long term. I would like my new Nanny family to believe in providing a respectful environment and open communication. I have taken college courses in Early Childhood Education and Social Work. I like to attend childcare workshops to continue my education. I am First Aid certified, and will renew my CPR certification if required. I will provide a fun, loving, respectful environment for your child/children. I will plan play dates and outings to make things fun as well as assist and improve social skills. I love to teach basic academics such as letters, numbers, colors, etc. in fun and creative ways as well as using workbooks. I will help school age children with homework. I have a lot of craft ideas and supplies. I will provide a structured yet flexible environment and will follow family rules and routines you already have in place.
