Hello my name is Starr I have been a nanny(mommy#2) for 15 years for a family in upstate NY.I m a now a mommy to my 7 month old sonand 2 stepsons. I am CPR and first aid certified I have a clean driving record and back ground check upon request. not to toot my own horn but "Toot toot" i have wonderful reference from many happy families. Ok so I have worked for 2 agencies as residential managers(ACCESS and Orange ARC) working with children and adults with autism as well as emotional and developmental disabilities. I was also a teachers aid at a school for children with autism called the center for Spectrum Services ...loved that job. Oh I am a non-smoker as well. I am fun and fair,creative and crafty, patient and firm and understanding all rolled in to one silly goofball kind of lady . I believe in creating a fun and creative learing experience in everything you do as well as exploring and ones creativity and imagination .I am big on encouraging healthy eating even if that means creating pinapple bunny sitting on a pile of snow(cottage cheese)eating strawberries warming himself under an orange slice sun with radating of shreeded carrot sun beams shinning down...yummy... can u picture it? I am all for being outside and active in the world exploring and learning..... life has always revolved around taking care of children. ..from early on as my mom had a home daycare and through my plethora of sitting, nanny and teaching jobs to my school and degrees and to my own children ...it is my life..... give me a call..lets chat..lets make a play date.
