I have babysat and served as a nanny for families with children of a variety of ages (1 month-13 years) and a variety of abilities and difficulties. At my job at the daycare, I was mainly in the infant room which was 1 month- 18 months, and I have personally babysat a 1-month-old- 6-month-old. In total, I have 8 years of varying childcare experience. I love children and, more specifically aiding in their development. One of my most favorite things I learned during college was child development because I felt that I was being given the tools to be a great caregiver. In my mind, there is nothing more rewarding than helping a tiny person grow up to a productive and happy adult, even if you had just a little part in their development. Ever since I was young I have had a passion for care giving. Through my experiences as a nanny, babysitter, and teacher, I have come to realize that with kids, you can't help but love them whole and completely. With my past experiences, the kids you take care of become your family and you love them to no end.
