Sitter in St. Catharines, Ontario

Hello there! I am a former Early Childhood Educator with over 11 years experience in Child Care. (Not including the Many years of babysitting.) Canadian citizen, educated in British Columbia, I have been living in the St Catharine's area for over 7 years. I have had my Emergency First Aid and Police Check done in the past, and am in the process of renewing them. I have a portfolio and letters of reference, to go along with my resume. I am also a cartoon/comic book/music aficionado, so I invariably know everything your children & teenagers are interested in. This goes a long way towards knowing what's appropriate for them to consume and for us to be able to relate to each other. Lastly I studied and believe in the Reggio Emilia theories of childcare. Which is very child oriented, where every moment is a teachable moment and first and foremost, respects the child and their specific capabilities.
