Hello my name is Hannah Haarklou. I come from a really beautiful family. My Mom is very nurturing and she taught me how to be the person I am. I believe I naturally understand children because my Mom was such a kind Mom. Here is a little history about my child caring experience. When I was 12 I started as a mother's helper caring for children. At 13 I began to babysit and grew up with the family next door. They are so special to me. The family now has three children and I got to be there after the second son was born and was an infant. It was beautiful watching the family grow. Then, their first daughter came along and we became very close! I am still close with all of them and because they were my neighbors I would even spend time with them when I was not working. Whether they rang my doorbell to go outside with them or I was invited over for dinner we spent a lot of quality time together. Talking about them now makes me want to call them! Our families were also friends. I babysat for that family for 10 years! I gained popularity with the neighbor and then the neighborhood moms. They began telling close friends about me and I was busy. Then, I actually ran a summer camp out of my house for three years. We did self portraits, learned about famous painters, did face painting, created marble art, made pizza, played in a blow up water park in the backyard, did life-size chalk board games on the drive way, read stories from around the world and much more. One year I had to hire another girl to help me. We had up to 16 kids one year. I am flexible to cater to a families needs and of course a child's interest. I am finishing a small amount of studies at Rutgers and am looking for work at a quality pay rate. I have many references and would love to hear from great families.
