As I was growing up, I spent a lot of time taking care of kids and helping around the house; I have five younger siblings and pretty busy parents. My love of children started here, where I got to interact closely with these endlessly optimistic, funny, loving little humans. Living as the oldest kid in my household, I had to become responsible, caring, patient, enthusiastic, and understanding quickly. Not only did these traits and my love for children lead me to working with them outside of our house (I babysat for three families and acted as a caretaker for kindergartners), but they also heavily influenced my goals for the future. Understanding kids and helping them grow into good, healthy people is very important to me, so I plan to become a counselor or therapist for children after college. However, my ideal job currently is to be a nanny or babysitter, and I would love to work with your youngsters.
