My name is Grace Dumas and I am 16 years old. I am a junior at Penn Wood High School and I am an Honors Student-Athlete. I also do a program at my school called “votech” where I go to get warm hours on getting my license in cosmetology. I am very involved in my school activities, I have always been a class officer for my grade,( Treasurer, Vice-President,Public-Relations), and I am in the student council. Because of the fact that I am in the votech program, it limits me time wise to be apart of other activities like I have been in the past two years. I also take college courses at the University of Valley forge and I took an college course at Penn Wood in my 10th grade year. When I grow up I want to have my career in Cosmetology, and Counseling psychology. My favorite color is purple and blue and I am a singer,dancer, and actor. I sing and dance at the church I go to. I absolutely adore kids, I enjoy teaching them and being with them when they make their new discoveries. I used to volunteer at my old elementary school as a teacher assistant tutoring kids in kindergarten, first, and sixth grade in English and math and also grading their homework and tests. I worked at a Summer camp that had about 25 kids from ages 2-8 and I helped them with Math, Reading, and writing skills , and also team building activities, and some of the kids that went to the camp now go to my old elementary school and every time they see me pick my niece up they would run to me and give me a hug or wave to me. I also help my niece with her homework and tutor her and she is now in first grade and even in kindergarten she was the top student in her class and very advanced in all of the subjects that she did. I am honest, dependable, and great with kids and I would love to be you’re babysitter.
