Hello! My name is Maria! I am a 2nd year grad student at Tulane. I am studying public health. I have over 8 years of babysitting/child care experience. I have taken care of infants from 1-month-old to early teens (13-15). My previous employment was at a special needs school; I was a long-term sub teacher. I was a one-on-one with a teenager with severe disabilities. I performed bathroom duties, food preparation, feeding, and teaching. I am 30 years old, so my priorities have changed over the years, I am focused on my studies but I also have a great set of skills and personality to find employment in many fields. I love kids (I am sure you see this on every profile, but its really true! :-) ), I think they can teach us "adults" a lot and remind us to stay young at heart.
