Hey! My name is Emma-Shane, I am 18 years old and have been working with or babysitting children for 6 years now. I went to Woodland Montessori School, an environment that thrived on each child looking after one another. At twelve years old I posted a flier in the lobby of my small school and started working for two families: one with three children and one with four. I have been working with and maintaining amazing relationships with these families for 6 years and have seen the children grow from toddlers to amazing pre-teens. I have experience working with both infants (bottle feeding, bathing, putting to sleep, walking, talking, reading) and children with special needs such as autism. I have watched and helped a young man grow up with severe autism for 6 years now and believe I am extremely patient and work really really well with him. I have formed a bond with him and the other children that can't be broken. I am leaving for college in the fall (September 2017) and am preferably looking for an occasional summer job. I am very flexible, yet still assisting the families I mentioned prior. I am very outgoing, very active, I love adventures, and much rather be outside than in. I have a drivers license with an absolutely clean record and can easily drop off, pick up, or go places with the kiddos. I love to teach young children to read and count and love doing arts and crafts as well. I think if you were to choose me to look after your children, you would not regret it! Thank You!
