Hi, my name is Lori. I have a bachelor's degree in elementary education from Illinois State University. I have worked with children from infants through school-age for the past 26 years. My first job was taking care of an infant in my home the summer before graduating from college. After graduating I started teaching three year olds in a daycare and then became a director. The daycare where I was working closed. I am currently working as a preschool teacher and director at a small preschool in Bloomington. This position was only temporary and ends at the end of May. I have decided I want to go back to working for just one family where I can really dedicate myself to the specific needs of the family. I love all ages of children. If the children are of age, I would enjoy doing art activities, cooking projects, educational activities and even parent approved field trips. I love playing games, reading books and singing songs. I want to provide the love and attention that the parents would if they were home. I certainly don't mind doing some basic household chores if that is something which is required. I am a hard working, dedicated, trustworthy, loving, fun, professional, caring and reliable nanny.
