I'm an
Individual
Little Blessings Home Childcare is a home away from home. I am licensed through DCFS to care for children in my home, as well as certified in CPR and First Aid. Little Blessings is located on Circle Ave in Forest Park right off of Roosevelt Road a block from Harlem Ave. I provide childcare services for children 6 weeks – 12 years old Monday – Friday from 6:15 A.M. to 6:15 P.M. Schedules are flexible (full/part time care, before and after school care and summer care available). Currently, I am offering some Saturday care and weekly drop-in care hours. Open enrollment for all ages is available at this time. What the program offers: Nutritious meals – hot breakfast, hot lunch and 2 snacks. Dinner for those who stay after 5:00 p.m. Toddler/preschool curriculum that focus on early learning skills/school readiness such as letters, numbers, colors, shapes and social skill. As well as homework assistance for school agers. Children will engage in arts and crafts, music and movement, hands on activities, and indoor/outdoor free play on a daily basis. Simulating, safe, and caring environment for babies. Majority of my families started their children with me when they were babies. (References available) During the summer, camp is in session. Your child’s day will be filled with arts and crafts, exploring the outside, recreational outings to parks, libraries, museums and fun centers (where kids can have fun and learn at the same time). We use every opportunity as a way to enhance learning. Best of all great low rates… providing quality that you would find in a center, but in a home environment. About the provider: Here at Little Blessings I present a loving, safe home away from home environment in which kids can play, learn and grow together. My program is very diverse and teaches respect for every culture we embrace. I hold two degrees in Early Childhood Education, as well as a certification to teach K-3. I have knowledge and experiences working with special need children. I have been a part of the childcare field for 5 ½ years and love every day that I’m in it. I believe it’s important to team work with families so that each child gain great childhood experiences growing into successful adults. I know that I have made a difference in the lives of many young children, not to mention being a mother to my own four children. I am a reliable, energetic provider who you can count on to provide quality care to your child. If you would like to schedule a tour of Little Blessing Home Childcare please feel to call MS.
