About Me: Hey all! My name is Hannah, as I'm sure you've already gathered. I am a returned Peace Corps Volunteer as of 3 weeks ago. During my time in Mozambique as a Secondary School teacher of math, biology and english I learned just how much I love spending time with kids. As crazy as it sounds my best buds over in Mozambique were 10 or younger. I found myself with my little neighboring group of 4-5 four and three year olds every day before and after my classes. I guess you could say I was babysitting them, but to me, it wasn't a job it was what made my life over there complete and what kept me whole. I had trouble adapting to the culture and language barriers, and my Portuguese wasn't quite perfect enough to understand all the lingo, but with the kids I didn't have to worry. They didn't speak Portuguese either, only local language. They taught me that regardless of what language you do or don't speak, regardless where you come from or where you've been, you can always make friends with an open mind and some crayons! Description of Skills: I am happy to help with play date supervision, homework help, bedtime routine, morning routine, transportation to/from school/sporting events.
