About me: My name is Hayley and am looking for a full time nanny position. I just finished a field assignment documenting teen moms and their journey through life in Costa Rica for the last requirement of my degree in Photography. I am 22 years of age and I love kids! I just moved to Hatfield, Pennsylvania in early May. I am in a serious relationship with an awesome guy I have been dating, and I moved to Hatfield to get to know his family better for at least the next year. I absolutely love taking care of children. I believe that the skills and experiences I have gained over the years make me an ideal candidate for your family. I laugh easily. I do not take myself too seriously. I enjoy playing games and love encouraging and joining in the creative play of the children I care for. I enjoy cooking and cleaning but my main strength is my nurturing heart. I love to see children smile and thrive. I love their curiosity and sense of adventure. My first job was a nanny for two different amazing families was when I was fifteen. That same year, I attended Royal Family KIDS, Camp, a camp for children from the foster care system. I have over 550 volunteer hours working with this organization and absolutely love making a difference in the lives of abused, abandoned and neglected children. The camp requires training to prepare all of the volunteers to know how to support children when their trauma is triggered. Royal Family partners with TCU, Texas Christian University, and their Child Development Center through the TBRI training. (Trust Based Relational Intervention). I learned many valuable strategies like providing a protein snack every two hours with water to support the brain and help reduce melt-downs. I also learned strategies to resolve conflict like breathing techniques, time-ins to help children co-regulate and then come back to the problem with do-overs to give the brain practice and the child comfort that they can resolve conflict.
