Sitter in Calgary, Alberta

As of July, my private day home will have one spot for a full time child (16 months preferably) or summer care. I will consider part time care as well. A bit about me: I am an elementary school teacher with permanent certification, specializing in teaching students with special needs and early childhood development. I have taught for Edmonton Public Board for 7 years, I taught for a private school here in Calgary and have been running this dayhome since Sept. 2012. My dayhome environment promotes the individual development of each child, physically, socially, emotionally, creatively and cognitively. I offer a play based environment with structured activites such as crafts, circle time, songs, story/literacy time and outdoor play. I will provide homemade breakfast, lunch and snacks or you are free to provide your own. **Note** we are a peanut/nut friendly home but do not give peanut products due to an allergy. We have a playground within half a block and a large backyard for outdoor play. My hours of operation are 7am - 5:30pm Please contact me for more information. Children with special needs welcome.
