Hi again, my name is Charla! I graduated from Seton Hall University about 2 years ago where I received my Bachelor's degree in Social Work. I am 24 years old and have worked in childcare for the past 8 years. Recently I received my P-3 certification and now, currently work as a Preschool Teacher. That said, my experience has certainly intensified over the past two years. During the past few years I have created and executed creative curriculum for a class of 15 students each year that targets different areas of child development in cognition, literacy, language, mathematics, gross motor and social-emotional skills. Prior to that, I worked in a clinical setting as a Therapeutic Technician at a local hospital where I had the pleasure of working with groups of children, adolescents and teens to cultivate life development skills and handle crisis. Out of all of the experience I've had to date, the crux of it has been gained from my own family. I am the proud Aunt of 5 nieces and 3 nephews. Through the quality of time spent between them and my work I've grown tremendously and my heart for enhancing the lives of children just as much! I enjoy cooking, creating fun learning experiences, staying active and having a great time doing it all!
