Summary: Hey there! My name is Ashley, I am 21 years old, I do not have a child care license but i have many years of volunteer work at a daycare center with children ranging from newborns to 8 yr old after school care. I would also volunteer in the summer, I would take the older kids outside and keep them entertained while the younger kids napped inside. Though I do know how to take care of younger children, I am most comfortable with children 3 and up. After volunteering at a daycare for so long and then suddenly quitting I realized that I wanted to make a career out of caring for children. I loved spending time with those kids, I looked forward to my days there, and to this day I am still in contact with some of those kids and parents. I decided to go back to school to study to become a child psychologist, get a job with CPS and help children out of bad situations. In the meantime I am here, funding my education and hoping to make new connections like the ones I made before! Service Abilities: I am happy to help with overnight and weekend care, I can cook, I have a car and a permit but no license yet, I am very good at getting kids to love me, I don't know how I just am. I can knit so I will most likely end up knitting something for you! I have a flexible schedule, I currently have another job but I am only working 1-2 days a week.
