I am currently employed with Kawartha Pine Ridge District School Board as an Educational Assistant. I have a wide range of experience working with typical and exceptional children. I am an active person who enjoys playing, cooking, colouring, being outdoors, laughing, and more.
I have experience with: Down syndrome, autism, developmentally delayed, medically fragile, cerebral palsy, epilepsy, ODD, ADHD/ADD, mental health, low vision, and learning disabilities. I can assist in academic work, social skill development, self worth development, and more. I am in the process of learning ASL and know a few signs already. If you are looking for a tutor I can also provide just tutoring services :)
I currently work full time Monday to Friday at a school. I am looking for occasional work after school hours and on the odd weekend!
