I have one opening left for Full Time care in my home-based early childhood center. I recently completed my second Masters Degree in Early Childhood Education from the College of Saint Rose. I add this to my previous Masters Degree in Clinical Child Psychology and Child Development. My home is equipped with a full preschool set up to meet the NAEYC's standards for High Quality Environment. I use NAEYC's Developmentally Appropriate Practice Standards to guide my care and teaching of all young children, and additionally use the Common Core Standards to develop lessons and activities for young children above the age of 2 in order to prepare for their more formal years of school. I believe in child-centered care and learning and meeting the needs of individual children and their families. With over 10 years experience working with children in public and private school settings as well as clinical and home settings and caring for my own 2 young children, I can ensure your child a high quality of care and learning.
