I am starting a home day care and have 2 or 3 openings. I have worked in childcare previously and have worked with newborns through middle-schoolers. I have taken CPR, first aid, and child development classes. I have a 1 1/2 year old who I am working with on sign language, language skills, social skills, colors, and shapes. We have story time, outside play, and inside play time. Inside we play with blocks, shape sorters, puppets, arts and crafts, to name a few. I strive to make learning fun and help children stay inquisitive and enjoying learning. I cook nutritious food with lots of fruits and vegetables and foods that can picked up and eaten to create independence and hand eye coordination. I am located in a very nice, safe neighborhood on the NW side of town and have a fenced in backyard and a swingset.
