I'm an
Individual
Greeting all of you wonderful parents! My name is Andrea. I am a mother of four children; I have an 8 year old, 6 year old, a two year old and a one year old. My 8 and 6 year attend a private Christian school here in the Madison area. I currently stay home with my 2 younger children. I just recently moved to the Madison/Monona area. Before my husband and I bought this home in Madison, we lived in Mc Farland. While living in Mc Farland for 3 years I ran a daycare/preschool called Home School Day Care. I have a background in Elementary Education with a minor in early childhood. So our day was planned. We started with a nutritional homemade breakfast. Then we had our morning circle, which had a theme. My curriculum was planned by the month. Below you will see a schedule that I created when running my daycare. About a year ago, I had my son and took a very long maternity leave! After having my son, we were in the process of buying our current home and we completely remodeled this house. Everything has been replaced and new! Now that we are in our new house, I would love to once again open up my daycare but have decided to take on less children. (Before I had 6 children) I have decided to just have two children to join myself and the two children that stay at home. I plan to have a schedule with educational properties. That would include but not limited to; reading time, art time, outside time, field trips; playtime, free play, directed play, snack time and lunch times. As a mother, I am loving, fun, and a friend who is dedicated to our children’s education. Children are the key to a better future. Due to significant economic budget constraints, our education system is forced to make cuts that our children are suffering from. My mission brings tender care back into daycare, which will grow into a non-profit school. Doing what I love, providing tender care, getting to grow with, nurture, and teach children full time motivates and fuels my dedication to complete my teaching education. I can understand how difficult it can be for working parents to balance all of their commitments and responsibilities in their lives. For this reason I strive to offer a program that will enrich your child’s development while putting your mind at ease. I will do my best to assist your child in developing important values such as: good manners, caring, sharing, patience responsibility, as well as communication and teamwork. I believe that children learn best through play, and we will implement these important values throughout our day. I also offer preschool activities such as learning the alphabet, shapes, colors, numbers, we also work on name recognition. It is my goal to offer your family the quality childcare experience you deserve. Please feel free to openly discuss any problems or concerns you may have at anytime. An open and honest relationship is the key to a happy childcare experience for everyone involved. Please feel free to email me or call!
