Hello! My name is Katelyn and I am a student at Old Dominion University so I live in the area. However, I'm originally from Maine. I have worked with children of all ages since I was 12 years old (I am 22 now). My mother has her own daycare in her home, so I have a copious amount of experience working with children. I would help my mom everyday after school and a few winters ago I actually ran the daycare for her for an entire month while she got surgery. After moving for college I have worked at two different day cares in Norfolk. In addition, I have volunteered for the Special Olympics, so I have experience with special needs, and I also volunteered in a fourth grade classroom for a semester. I have a great love for kids, and can provide references for you if that makes you more comfortable. Growing up with children I grew a passion to help and care for them. I like to think I have very motherly instincts and attributes. I am a loving, energetic, humble person and I look forward to working with kids again.
